Fiberglass stitched fabric compatible with Polyester, Vinyl and Epoxy resin and widely used in pultrusion pipes and tanks, FRP boat, insulation panels, anode tubes, auto parts, bath tubes etc, suitable for pultrusion, filament winding, RTM, hand lay-up processes.
Multiaxial Core Mat (Fiberglass Stitched Mat)
POLEMA's multiaxial core mat, a specialized fiberglass stitched mat, is a premium sandwich-structured reinforcement. Engineered by securely stitching a biaxial fabric (0°/90°) with a synthetic flow core (PP, PET, or Nylon) and an outer chopped strand layer, it delivers unparalleled structural stiffness and rapid resin flow. It is the ultimate lightweight solution for boat hulls, wind energy components, and automotive parts via RTM and vacuum infusion processes.
The Multiaxial Core Mat is an innovative, multi-layered fiberglass stitched mat designed to maximize manufacturing efficiency in closed-mold processes. Its unique "sandwich" architecture consists of three distinct components mechanically stitched together without chemical binders: a structural biaxial fiberglass layer (0° and 90°), a highly permeable middle core material (synthetic PP, PET, or Nylon), and a surface layer of chopped fiberglass strands.
This intelligent design not only drastically increases the stiffness-to-weight ratio of the final composite but also acts as an excellent flow medium, allowing resin to rapidly impregnate the entire laminate. Highly compatible with Polyester, Vinyl Ester, and Epoxy resin systems, this fiberglass stitched mat is widely specified for manufacturing lightweight, high-strength FRP products. It is heavily utilized in boat building, wind energy, automotive manufacturing, train components, and chemical storage tanks, performing exceptionally well in RTM (Resin Transfer Molding), Vacuum Infusion, and advanced hand lay-up forming processes.
