Fiberglass Stitched Mat is an innovative, high-performance reinforcement designed without chemical binders. It is meticulously engineered by evenly dispersing chopped fiberglass strands of a specific length, and subsequently stitching them together with a backing layer of polyester tissue or carbon fiber tissue using strong polyester yarn.
This unique mechanical stitching process guarantees extraordinary structural integrity, dimensional stability, and exceptionally fast wet-out speeds (≤60s). Demonstrating supreme compatibility with Polyester, Vinyl Ester, and Epoxy resin systems, it is the reinforcement of choice for pultrusion, filament winding, RTM (Resin Transfer Molding), and advanced hand lay-up processes. It is extensively deployed in the manufacturing of heavy-duty pultruded pipes, chemical storage tanks, FRP boat hulls, insulation panels, anode tubes, and automotive components.
