Fiberglass Stitch Bonded Fabric (Stitched Mat)

POLEMA's Fiberglass Stitch Bonded Fabric, widely referred to in the industry as a high-performance fiberglass stitched mat, is an advanced multi-layer composite reinforcement. It is meticulously engineered by aligning fiberglass direct rovings strictly parallel in both the 0° (warp) and 90° (weft) directions. These biaxial layers are then mechanically stitched together with an additional layer of chopped strands or polyester tissue to form a robust combo mat.

Because it contains no chemical binders, this fiberglass stitched mat ensures rapid resin wet-out and exceptional multi-directional structural strength. It demonstrates superior compatibility with Polyester, Vinyl Ester, and Epoxy resin systems. It is globally specified for demanding applications including wind energy blades, high-end boat building, automotive components, sports equipment, and FRP flat panels. It performs flawlessly across various manufacturing methods such as Vacuum Infusion, hand lay-up, pultrusion, and RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) processes.
