PLM-411 by POLEMA is a premium-grade corrosion resistant epoxy vinyl ester resin engineered specifically for continuous FRP pultrusion profiles. Designed to withstand harsh chemical, marine, and high-temperature environments, this advanced epoxy vinyl ester resin offers exceptional mechanical toughness and thermal stability.
Addressing the limitations of general-purpose pultrusion polyester resins regarding corrosion and heat resistance, this resin is widely used in products subjected to harsh operating conditions, such as anti-corrosion profiles for the chemical industry, components for metallurgical electrolysis, flue-gas desulfurization (FGD) parts, supports for marine environments, and high-strength, corrosion-resistant insulating components.
The resin balances low-viscosity impregnation properties with a highly corrosion-resistant cross-linked structure; its gelation profile is matched to continuous pultrusion pulling speeds, ensuring rapid and complete in-mold curing, as well as continuous production without mold sticking or profile breakage.
