The Woven Roving Combo Mat is an advanced, two-in-one fiberglass reinforcement designed to drastically reduce lay-up time and improve laminate strength. It is meticulously constructed by marrying a high-tensile fiberglass woven roving layer with an evenly distributed chopped strand layer. These two layers are mechanically stitched together using high-tenacity polyester yarn, entirely eliminating the need for styrene-soluble binders.
Because of this binder-free, stitched construction, this fiberglass combo mat ensures rapid resin impregnation and excellent conformability to complex molds. Highly compatible with Polyester, Vinyl Ester, and Epoxy resin systems, it delivers outstanding mechanical properties and impact resistance. It is heavily relied upon by global manufacturers in marine boat building, automotive body parts, refrigerated truck panels, structural pultruded sections, and large FRP tooling, performing flawlessly in hand lay-up, RTM (Resin Transfer Molding), vacuum infusion, and pultrusion processes.
