A pure isophthalic-type resin, it is designed expressly for continuous pultrusion processes, featuring rapid fiber wet-out, uniform curing, low shrinkage, and excellent processing stability. It is perfectly suited for the continuous, high-speed production of FRP profiles, angle bars, channel beams, I-beams, and similar structural components.

Storage Conditions, Shelf Life, Storage Stability, Separation/Crystallization, and Usability After Opening?

Storage Environment: Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse away from direct light, at a temperature of 5–25°C. Keep away from heat sources, open flames, strong oxidizing agents, and UV radiation.
Shelf Life (in Original, Sealed Container): 3 months.
Storage Stability: The formulation is stable; under normal storage conditions, it is resistant to separation, crystallization, or precipitation. Avoid exposure to high temperatures, direct sunlight, or freeze-thaw cycles.
After Opening: The container must be promptly resealed to prevent exposure to air. It is recommended to use the product within 30 days of opening; prolonged exposure to air will result in increased viscosity, accelerated gelation, diminished performance, and styrene volatilization.

Instructions for Use and Storage Conditions

When PLM-202 resin is used in pultrusion process, the curing system should be selected according to specific equipment, products, process temperature, pultrusion speed and other factors. 2. During application, control the moisture content of glass fiber, fillers, pigment paste and other raw materials. Ensure good compatibility between pigment paste and unsaturated polyester resin.
