E-Glass Direct Roving for Pultrusion and Winding

       Setting the industry standard for advanced composite reinforcement, POLEMA's alkali-free E-Glass is formulated from high-grade borosilicate glass containing less than 1% alkali metal oxide. In the form of high-tension direct roving, it seamlessly integrates with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, Bisphenol-A epoxy, and Bisphenol-A polyester resins. It acts as the core structural backbone to maximize the tensile strength and longevity of heavy-duty applications, including FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) piping, large-scale storage tanks, electrolytic cells, and industrial anti-corrosion equipment.

POLEMA's E-glass direct roving is manufactured via advanced tank furnaces through a single-step high-temperature pulling process. It offers exceptional weaving performance and is optimized for advanced continuous molding techniques, including pultrusion and filament winding.

Engineered for maximum tensile strength, this direct roving acts as a superior reinforcement substrate for UP (Unsaturated Polyester), VE (Vinyl Ester), and Epoxy resins. Its smooth surface and excellent strand integrity make it the ideal choice for global fabricators producing high-performance FRP composites, such as continuous fiberglass pipes, structural profiles, and pressure vessels.

Instructions for Use & Storage
Packing
Packing: Packed in pallets, every single roll is in a shrinkage polybag. Standard carton contains 3-4 layers (48-64 rolls/carton).
Storage
Storage Conditions: Store in a dry, open environment. Best storage temperature is 5-35°C with 35-65% humidity. Best used within 12 months.
Stacking
Stacking: Maximum two layers of pallets are allowed to be vertically stacked if storage space is limited.
