What is the recommended addition ratio for Low Shrinkage Additives (LSA)? What are the consequences of adding too much or too little?
The standard addition ratio is 5%–10% of the total resin weight. However, this specific ratio should be adjusted based on the resin type, product wall thickness, and precision requirements: for thick-walled or high-precision products, the ratio may be appropriately increased to 8%–12%; for standard molded parts, it can be maintained within the 5%–8% range. If inorganic fillers (such as calcium carbonate or talc) are also being used, the ratio may be fine-tuned to strike a balance between shrinkage control and processing flowability. Instructions for Use and Storage Conditions

PLM-9892 is usually used together with PLM-128 to produce low-shrink molding compounds. The typical ratio of PLM-128 to PLM-9892 is 70:30, which can be adjusted according to actual conditions. Molding conditions: 140–160℃, 50–100 kg/cm². According to dimensional requirements, 300–600 ppm of hydroquinone (based on total resin and low-shrinkage additive) can be added to the formulation.

If stored for a long time, keep in original unopened packaging in a low-temperature environment or cold storage.
